Ok, perhaps we're being a bit snarkier than we should be, but Charles Ferguson's scathing and smart documentary "Inside Job," does have interview segments with Eliot Spitzer and touches upon the very topic that Alex Gibney's forthcoming documentary explores in much greater detail. At any rate, seems like it will be a great companion piece to that film."Client 9: The Rise And Fall Of Eliot Spitzer" posits that a scared Wall Street set out to dig up dirt on the crusading New York Attorney General because he was coming after them. It's definitely a side to the story that wasn't really heard at the time. But if you think this the film is going to whitewash Spitzer's transgressions, guess again. And he fesses up to in the trailer, he's responsible for his own downfall.
